Farzana Rahman has been appointed as director of housekeeping at Amwaj Rotana Jumeirah Beach

Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Rahman brings with her more than 10 years’ international experience in front office, housekeeping and spa management positions Her previous work experience includes working with properties like Delta Chelsea Hotel in Toronto, Fairmont Orchid in Hawaii and the One & Only Royal Mirage in Dubai. Majoring in Psychology and graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Regina, she started her career in the front office department in 2003 where she was responsible for the front of house operations of a 1,590 key hotel.In 2005, she moved to the housekeeping department and shortly after to the spa and wellness department where she spent two years as spa manager.Farzana will be replacing Marko Korica who has been promoted to the position of executive assistant manager at one of Rotana’s newest properties, Boulevard Arjaan by Rotana in Amman, Jordan.
