Francesco Sardelli has been appointed as General Manager at The Kensington

Francesco Sardelli
The Doyle Collection has announced that Francesco Sardelli has been appointed as General Manager of The Kensington. From Southern Italy to South Kensington, Francesco Sardelli is no stranger to spectacular settings. Born and raised in Puglia, a young Francesco moved to London in 1989, hoping to improve his English. He began his career in hospitality as a Room Service Waiter at Grosvenor House and has since spent 30 years working his way up to General Manager of London’s finest townhouse hotel; The Kensington. Prior to this, Sardelli has worked in management roles in other prestigious London hotels, including Brown’s Hotel in Mayfair, The Baglioni Hotel in Kensington, and most recently, The Montcalm Hotel in London. Sardelli’s priority as General Manager is to ensure his staff offer friendly, personal and attentive service, as well as close attention to detail, to ensure their guests return again and again. He finds TripAdvisor a useful tool to recognise staff from all departments who build relationships with their guests and rewards them accordingly.
