Kathy Mendez has been appointed as Director of Sales at Residence Inn by Marriott Jersey City

True North Hotel Group, management company for a new 152-suite Residence Inn by Marriott in Jersey City, N.J. currently under construction, today announced that Darren Piercey and Kathy Mendez have been appointed general manager and director of sales, respectively, for the hotel slated to open late February, 2017. Also a newcomer to True North Hotel Group is Mendez, who represents seven years in hotel sales and operations. Most recently serving as sales manager at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Manhattan/Chelsea, Mendez holds a Sales Productivity Certificate from Master Connections. She also holds a Master’s of Science degree in Hospitality Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Kathy Mendez is an alumnus of Fairleigh Dickinson University – Class of 2016.
