Mark Pratt has been appointed as Vice President and National Director of Hospitality at The Walsh Group

The Walsh Group welcomes Mark Pratt to its professional staff as Vice President and National Director of Hospitality. Mark will lead the Walsh Hospitality Center of Excellence and be responsible for expanding the company's hospitality brand across the United States. "We are excited to welcome Mark to Walsh and have him join our talented team," said Michael Whelan, Walsh's Building Group President. "He's proven his expertise in the hospitality sector throughout his career, and built success on managing multi-disciplined teams; we look forward to utilizing his leadership to further strengthen our portfolio and customer service." Mark's 28 years of experience in design and construction has resulted in the successful delivery of complex projects in Chicago, New York, Miami, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, and Rio de Janiero. As a principal for VOA Associates, now Stantec, Mark was responsible for building the company's commercial hospitality practice from $2.5 million in fees to over $18 million in five years. He delivered facilities for the largest hotel providers including Hilton, Marriott, Sheraton, Westin and Virgin Hotels. Mark attended Purdue University and studied Architectural Technology/Engineering and is an Advisory Board Member of various associations, including the Association of Starwood Franchisee and Owners, Boutique Lifestyle and Lodging Association, Boutique Design and NCD International Advisory Board.
