Adam Edelman has been named Director of Food and Beverage at Hyatt Regency Austin

Hyatt Regency Austin, located on the shores of Lady Bird Lake in downtown Austin, has hired Adam Edelman as director of food and beverage. He joins the property from Hyatt Regency San Francisco where he was assistant director of operations. As director of food and beverage, Edelman will oversee each of the hotel’s restaurant outlets including Southwest Bistro, Marker 10, and the on-site Starbucks. He will also manage banquet operations. Edelman has worked in the hospitality industry for more than 11 years. He began his career with Hyatt Corporate working as a front desk agent while attending college. He has held various positions in the company ranging from corporate management trainee and front office manager, to executive housekeeper and assistant director of operations. He has worked at several Hyatt properties including Hyatt Regency La Jolla, Hyatt Regency Maui, and Hyatt Regency San Francisco. Edelman received his Bachelor of Science Degree and Master of Science Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from San Diego State University.

Adam Edelman is an alumnus of L. Robert Payne School of Hospitality & Tourism Management at San Diego State University (SDSU) – Class of 2015.
