Andrew Skobe has been appointed as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Carlson Hotels, Inc.

Carlson Hotels, Inc. today announced it has named Andrew Skobe Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Skobe is based in Minneapolis and reports to John Kidd, newly appointed CEO of Carlson Hotels. In his new role, Skobe will be responsible for Carlson Hotels finance, accounting, tax, insurance, and treasury functions, as well as directing strategic investments and strategic sourcing for the company. Skobe brings a broad range of global financial experience across several industries. Previously, he served as EVP and CFO of Croscill Home, a portfolio of private-equity-owned companies, where he led a wide variety of global functions in addition to his finance responsibilities. Prior to that, he worked as the CFO of Westpoint Home, a portfolio company of Icahn Enterprises. Skobe also has extensive experience in treasury, banking, investor relations, risk and insurance, and internal audit. Skobe received a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University. Andrew is a proud board member of the NY Common Pantry, which is New York City’s largest community-based food pantry, focused on providing culturally appropriate and nutritiously balanced food to families in need. He also serves on the Yorkville Youth Athletic Association board.
