Thomas Bourdois has been named General Manager at Intercontinental Bordeaux Le Grand Hotel

Thomas Bourdois, 40, has just been appointed General Manager of the InterContinental Bordeaux - Le Grand Hôtel - the reference of luxury hotels in the Gironde capital. Thomas Bourdois had previously held the InterContinental Marseille - Hôtel-Dieu for five years in Marseille, as Director of Operations for the most magnificent 5-star hotel in Marseille. In this capacity, he had, among other things, prepared the opening (in April 2013) of this 194-room establishment, leading the recruitment of its 200-strong team and contributing to its positioning on the market. Loyal to InterContinental Hotels & Resorts since 2005, he previously served as Director of Catering at the two other French hotels of the chain: InterContinental Paris Le Grand and InterContinental Carlton Cannes. In addition to organizing and coordinating operations, he had worked to improve customer satisfaction, obtaining the IHG Award for excellence in catering. A graduate of the Paul Bocuse Institute in Lyon, Thomas Bourdois began his professional career in 2001 at Le Méridien Montparnasse Paris, as Business Events Manager and then as Assistant Director of Catering.
