Prior to joining The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace, he was the General Manager at Jaipur Marriott Hotel. Dar brings with him over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, having worked at properties like The Oberoi in Mumbai and New Delhi, The Oberoi Rajvilas, Oakwood Premier Prestige, Bangalore and The Trident Kochi. After the completion of his Business Studies from the Delhi University, he joined the Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development (OCLD) as a management trainee. For a few years, he continued to work in the learning and development space as an integral part of the OLCD team, Delhi. Dar possesses major strength in hotel operations and brings to the table expertise that include the delivery of above average performance and improvising quality servicing standards. Under his leadership, Jaipur Marriott and Oakwood Premier Prestige Bangalore displayed a tremendous growth in sales. He was recently awarded the 2016 General Manager Award for his Sales Leadership. At The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace, his key responsibilities include overseeing the hotel operations, development and implementation of marketing & operational plans, budget & goal programs and maintaining excellent relationships with the stakeholders. Dar is known to be a people’s person who strongly believes in motivating individuals to perform better and achieve their dream goals. He lives by the motto of never compromising on quality standards, especially when it about making a guest’s experience a memorable one.
