Emmanuel Richardet has been appointed General Manager at The Westin Turtle Bay and Spa
Marriott International announces the appointment of Emmanuel Richardet as General Manager of The Westin Turtle Bay Resort & Spa Mauritius . In his role as General Manager, Richardet will oversee the management and operations of the 190 room, 5-star resort on the tropical island of Mauritius. Richardet moves to Mauritius having previously been General Manager at the iconic Westin Vendôme located in the heart of the French capital, Paris, since 2014. He began his career in Paris in 1986 and joined Starwood Hotels & Resorts in 1989 as” Clef d'Or" Concierge at the then, Le Méridien Montparnasse Paris, after which he took a short sabbatical to pursue further studies in Sales & Marketing. He returned to the same property and held several roles in Sales, Conferencing and Banqueting to finally head the Food & Beverage department. In 1998, Emmanuel moved to Le Méridien Garden Beach in Juan-les-Pins in the South of France as Director of Food & Beverage and then to Portugal two years later as Director of Operations at Le Méridien Penina. He honed his operational skills and went on to assume the role of Hotel Manager in 2007 and then General Manager of Le Méridien Dona Filipa & San Lorenzo Golf Course. Passionate about the hotel industry and a specialist in resorts, Richardet continued his journey in General Management at the Sheraton La Caleta Resort & Spa in Tenerife, Spain from 2009 to 2014, prior to joining The Westin Vendome, Paris.
