Nick Heath has been appointed as the general manager of The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal. Heath's tenure with Starwood Hotels & Resorts started in 2007 and he became general manager of the W Bangkok (Bangkok, Thailand) and the W Seoul-Walkerhill (Seoul, South Korea) prior to joining Sheraton in the Middle East in 2015. Heath started his hospitality career as a corporate engineering management trainee with Hyatt Hotels Corporation leading the engineering team in several properties in Asia, Middle East and the United States. In 1995 he was appointed director of engineering in Hyatt Hotel Aryaduta Jakarta where he changed his path into director of rooms and then, worked as director of sales and marketing. Heath has also been employed as general manager in Thailand and South Korea.
