QHotels has appointed Ian Chaplin as General Manager of its four-star hotel The Nottingham Belfry.
Ian brings over 15 years’ hospitality experience, most recently at EEF Venues’ Woodland Grange, in Leamington Spa, where he introduced new conference business and coordinated expansion into the region’s leisure market.
Previously he managed conference and banqueting at the International Conference Centre in Birmingham for the NEC Group, and took senior operations roles at DeVere and Principal Hayley Hotels.
In his new role he will oversee The Nottingham Belfry’s 13 flexible conference and meeting rooms, accommodating up to 700 delegates, as well as a health club, spa, swimming pool and the on-site restaurant, bar and lounge. General Management Europe United Kingdom Nottingham
