Amit Kumar has been appointed as Food & Beverage Manager and Executive Chef at M Hotel Downtown by Millennium

The first M Hotel Brand in UAE under the management of Millennium & Copthorne has appointed Amit Kumar as its new Food & Beverage Manager and Executive Chef In charge. With over 22 years of experience in the hotel industry, Kumar has worked with prestigious hotel brands in India, Oman, and UAE and brings his expertise in F&B and people management in his new role. Amit started his career in 1995 as a Commis Chef in India, from then he went to different hotel brands in UAE such as Accor, Hyatt, Shangri-La, Starwood and IHG as a pre-opening Executive Chef and F&B Operations Manager for Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi. In between, he went back to India to work for Radisson and later moved to The Oberoi Group, Trident Hilton as an Executive Chef. Prior to his current role, Amit was the Director of Food & Beverage and Executive Chef of Four Points by Sheraton Bur Dubai, Dubai where he developed, implemented and monitored the operations of all restaurants and bars. In his new stint, Amit will manage the day to day operations of the hotel’s Food & Beverage department, executive dynamic F&B strategies to drive revenue and deliver outstanding level of customer service.
