Emma Dore, the former general manager at Malmasion Oxford, has moved to the 48-bedroom Hotel du Vin & Bistro Wimbledon. Dore has worked with the group for 16 years and has held general manager roles with Malmasion in Newcastle and Leeds, as well as Oxford. The Wimbledon hotel, based in Cannizaro House on Wimbledon Common, joined the Hotel du Vin brand in 2015 after being acquired by the company the previous year.
Dore has replaced Beccy Gunn who has been appointed general manager at Bespoke Hotels’ White Horse hotel in Dorking, Surrey, to oversee the £3b re-launch of the 57-bedroom property in November.
