Michèle Geller has been appointed as Director of Convention Services, Catering and Event Sales at Embassy Suites by Hilton Dallas Frisco

Hammons Hotels & Resorts (JQH) today announced that Michèle Geller has been promoted to director of convention services, catering and event sales at the company’s newly renovated Embassy Suites by Hilton Dallas Frisco Hotel, Convention Center & Spa in Texas, which is located north of Dallas near the $5 Billion Mile development. With 27 years of hospitality experience, Geller previously served as senior sales manager for the 2017 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence hotel. In her new role, she will manage the catering and event services team while maximizing event revenues, convention services efficiencies, and the overall guest experience. Geller will report to Mike Woodfin, hotel director of sales. She will also serve as the point of contact for the numerous foundation and large catering events at the completely refreshed Frisco Conference Center, connected to the 330-suite Embassy Suites by Hilton Dallas Frisco. The upscale hotel is owned and operated by Springfield, Missouri-based JQH, a leading private, independent owner and manager of hotels in the United States. JQH also operates more than 1 million square feet of superb meeting space. While senior sales manager at JQH’s Embassy Suites by Hilton Dallas Frisco, Geller exceeded goals year over year by 20 percent on average, tripling production in her market over seven years. She was recipient of the hotel’s 2016 Manager of the Year Award. She was responsible for new business development and organic growth of existing client relationships. She also assisted the hotel director of sales with training and best practices for sales staff. Prior to JQH, Geller served as national sales manager for InterContinental Dallas, where she was consistently a top team producer. Her career also includes meeting and catering management positions with Starwood Hotels and Resorts and Hyatt Hotels Corporation. Geller has a Bachelor of Hotel Administration from the Hotelschool The Hague in Amsterdam, ranked among the top hospitality business schools in the world. She majored in international sales and marketing. Geller is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP). She serves on the 2017 Travel, Exposition and Meeting Management Advisory Committee for Richland College in Dallas. Besides English, Geller is fluent in Dutch, French and German.
