San Clemente Palace Kempinski, the luxury five-star resort situated on its own private island in the Venetian lagoon, has appointed Silvio Iacovino as its new General Manager. Silvio Iacovino - General Manager - San Clemente Palace KempinskiPrior to joining Kempinski, Iacovino worked for more than 16 years with Sofitel Hotels and Resorts, serving in various management roles, including as General Manager of the Sofitel properties in Luxembourg, Lyon and, most recently, Marseille, France. He holds a Master's in Business and MBA in International Hospitality Management from IMHI Essec Business School in Paris. A native Italian speaker, Iacovino is also fluent in French and English, and is married with three children. When not on property, Iacovino spends his leisure time practicing various sports and is a passionate reader of Italian literature.
