Rudolf Gimmi has been appointed as General Manager at Sanya Shangri-La Hotel

A German native, Mr. Gimmi has been working in the hospitality industry for over 20 years. As an experienced professional hotelier, he is been dedicated to improving guest experience, maximising operational profits, as well as creating a multicultural working environment. He will lead Shangri-La’s Sanya Resort & Spa, Hainan to continuous success. Mr. Gimmi has senior management experience gained at luxury hotels in many countries, including Germany, the United States, Mexico, Canada, the Maldives and China. Prior to joining this resort in Sanya, he was the hotel manager at Shangri-La Futian, Shenzhen. He will lead the hotel team in continuing to provide a warm and fun-filled experience to family travellers and professional service to MICE and wedding guests, with focus on details and improving guest satisfaction.
