Vahe is an Armenian national who began his career at Marriott as Housekeeping supervisor at the Armenia Marriott Hotel Yerevan and was promoted to Housekeeping Manager in 2007. In 2009, Vahe moved over to the Finance department, taking the position of Accounting manager, where he stayed a year before accepting an exciting new challenge as Assistant Director of Finance at the Renaissance Samara Hotel in Russia. Vahe was promoted to Director of Finance in Samara in 2011. In 2013, Vahe was appointed as Director of Finance at the Novosibirsk Marriott Hotel where he had his first hotel opening. He earned “Mustang” Award for the year 2014 and a «European Award for Talent Development» a year later. In February 2016, Vahe became the Cluster Director of Finance at the Tbilisi Marriott Hotel and Courtyard Tbilisi where he has been instrumental in driving margins and business forward, as well as establishing strong internal controls and manage owner relations very well. The main Vahe’s goal as for a General Manager is the strengthening of the Courtyard by Marriott Moscow Paveletskaya hotel in the Moscow market of business hotels, as well as the development and advanced training of the team for the hotel to reach new great heights.
