Dublin-based Staycity Aparthotels has appointed Matt Roberts to the newly created position of Head of Sales. Roberts joins Staycity from SACO The Serviced Apartment Company, where he was responsible for corporate sales in London and key account management. His career to date includes Director of Sales UK and Ireland for American Express Global Business Travel and with Hogg Robinson Group in various sales and account management positions. This year Staycity will open a 212-unit property in Liverpool’s Corn Exchange along with the first of its premium brand, Wilde Aparthotels by Staycity, on London’s Strand. A further six new sites were announced recently for opening in 2019/20 including Paris, Venice, Berlin, Dublin and Manchester.
