Cenk Unverdi has been appointed as Cluster GM at Rixos Hotels
Cenk Unverdi has added Rixos Premium Dubai to his area of responsibilities, which already includes Rixos The Palm Dubai; he is now the cluster general manager of both Dubai properties.
Unverdi has more than 10 years' experience working with Rixos in the UAE as well as Kazakhstan.
Starting out in finance, business administration and F&B at Rixos President Astana, he then took part in a management trainee programme that allowed him to progress into various operational roles where he gained experience across all aspects of hotel management.
Unverdi then moved to Dubai and joined Rixos the Palm Dubai as operations manager, overseeing the pre-opening of Rixos The Palm Dubai in 2012.
He progressed to the role of general manager and oversaw the restructure of Rixos the Palm as it transitioned into a multi-concept all-inclusive resort in 2016, and was assigned project leader for the pre-opening phase of the Rixos Premium Dubai, which opened in Jumeirah Beach Residence in 2017.
