Kenneth S. Jones has been appointed as Director of Engineering at Doug Pitcock ’49 Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center

BENCHMARK®, a global hospitality company, has appointed Kenneth S. Jones director of engineering for the Doug Pitcock '49 Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center, nearing completion in College Station, Texas. The Benchmark Resorts & Hotels property will open in August. Greg Stafford, general manager, made the announcement.

Ken Jones previously served as the chief engineer for the Woodlands Resort & Conference Center near Houston. He began with this property as engineering HVAC tech and was subsequently promoted to positions of increasing responsibility. Earlier in his career Mr. Jones owned and operated K & S Air, a company he launched in 1999.

Mr. Jones attended Lone Star College in Houston. He is the recipient of numerous awards of service excellence, including Associate of the Year and Manager of the Year. He is relocating to the College Station area.
