Thomas Harlander has been appointed as MD at Rosewood Bangkok

Thomas Harlander has been appointed Managing Director of the Rosewood Bangkok, a new luxury hotel scheduled to open in Q4 2018.

With more than 18 years' of experience in the luxury hospitality industry, Mr. Harlander will manage and oversee all aspects of the Rosewood Bangkok which is located on Ploenchit Road in the heart of the city.

Born and raised in Germany, Mr. Harlander's career has taken him around the world including luxury hospitality experience in key gateway cities such as London, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, Tokyo and most recently Seoul where he was general manager of the Park Hyatt hotel.

Prior to joining Rosewood, his career extended throughout the Park Hyatt brand where he held hotel general manager and senior food and beverage management roles across 6 cities.

Mr. Harlander entered the hotel industry following his graduation from Simon-Knoll-School in Munich, Germany with a Bachelor of Arts degree in hotel management.

Thomas Harlander is an alumnus of Cornell | Executive and Professional Education – Class of 2001.
