Aldert van Zyl has been appointed as Executive Assistant Manager at Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek

Aldert van Zyl has been appointed as the new executive assistant manager of Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek. He brings more than 14 years of experience to his new role.

A South African national, Zyl holds an MBA degree from Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

After his management training, he held various positions throughout his career such as senior manager, F&B manager and director of food & drinks. Prior to his appointment as EAM, Zyl has successfully ran 16 food & beverage outlets and banqueting facilities for up to 1,400 guests as well as provided outside catering services.

Besides his hotel management duties, Zyl also leads the Radisson Hotel Group's responsible business strategy in the Middle East, liaising with 32 hotels in the UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait and Egypt on all CSR-related activities.

Zyl has also been accepted to the Radisson Hotel Group's Mentor Mentee Program, which is a fast-track talent initiative to general manager.

Aldert van Zyl is an alumnus of Cape Town Hotel School, Cape Peninsula University of Technology .
