Joe Dumlao has been appointed as Director of Engineering at InterContinental Mark Hopkins
The InterContinental Mark Hopkins is pleased to announce Joe Dumlao as Director of Engineering for this iconic hotel property located in San Francisco's historic Nob Hill.
Dumlao has more than 30 years of experience working with hotel brands and commercial buildings throughout Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay Area, including Westin, Crowne Plaza, Radisson and more.
He spent the last few years at the Director of Property Operations for the Hilton Hotel Oakland Airport, responsible for the building's overall physical structure including mechanical, electrical and HVAC systems, safety procedures, management of budgets and capital projects, and more.
During his time on property, Dumlao was recognized twice as Manager of the Quarter and was named Manager of the Year for 2017.
He has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines, a diploma in HVAC and Refrigeration from Golden State School in Santa Clara, and EPA Certification from the ESCO Institute.
