Aleksandr Sigalus has been appointed as Director of Sales, International at Montage Beverly Hills

In his new role, Sigalus joins a seasoned sales team in developing innovative strategies to maximize revenues and opportunities for the hotel in international markets and global territories. At Montage Beverly Hills, Sigalus focuses heavily on wholesale accounts worldwide and oversees leisure and business travel for international markets including Europe, the United Kingdom, Middle East, Russia, Asia Pacific and Australia.

Sigalus joined Montage Beverly Hills with over 14 years of experience, and most recently from The Beverly Hills Hotel and Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles, where he oversaw the diplomatic and Middle East markets as sales director. Previously, he was at Trump SoHo in New York City, where he rose from group sales manager to international sales manager in two short years and was honored with a Sales Excellence Award in 2016. Sigalus got his start in hospitality in the front office and guest relations department of the Waldorf Astoria New York before transitioning into sales.

Born and raised in Moldova, in Eastern Europe, and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Sigalus earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and political science from Baruch College, City University of New York, and a certificate in hospitality management with a focus on marketing from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Formerly a professional swimmer, he enjoys staying active in his free time.
