Altamash Iqbal has been appointed as Executive Chef at The Ritz-Carlton, DIFC
The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre has appointed Altamash Iqbal as the new chef at its signature fusion restaurant Cara.
Joining the hotel from The Ritz-Carlton Bangalore in India, Iqbal brings more than 12 years of experience to the restaurant which offers a menu that blends European, Indian, Asian and Middle Eastern influences.
In his new role, Iqbal will also oversee banqueting and catering for weddings and large scale events at the property.
Prior to this, he has overseen a number of Indian food festivals at The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen, The Ritz-Carlton, Jakarta and The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu, developing various interpretations of his family recipes.
