Kerrington Hing has been appointed as General Manager at Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead

Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead announces the appointment of Kerrington Hing as general manager of the 127-room hotel, bringing a wealth of experience and dedicated service to Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts' newest property. In his position, Hing will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead including hotel management, guest experience and day-to-day operations of the property, comprised of a 15,000-square-foot spa, extensive meeting and event space and 47 private residences.

Kerrington Hing

A 27-year hospitality veteran, Hing most recently served as general manager of Waldorf Astoria Park City for more than seven years, where he led the team's operational success and overall sales growth for the hotel. Prior to becoming a general manager with Waldorf Astoria, he served as general manager at The Ritz-Carlton Club, Aspen Highlands and The Ranch at Rock Creek.

Hing began his career at Minneapolis Airport Marriott as a credit manager before joining Portland Marriott as assistant controller. He then joined JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa as senior assistant controller before taking on the role of director of finance at Calgary Marriott Downtown Hotel, The Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club and JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa. Hing went on to serve as area director of finance and then hotel manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch until 2009.

Hing holds a bachelor's degree in international business from Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, Minnesota.
