Jekson Manalu has been appointed as General Manager at Days Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Jakarta Airport

The hotel is managed by Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific through its local subsidiary, PT Wyndham Hotel Management, and under license agreement from Wyndham Hotel & Resorts. Currently, the company manages nine Indonesian properties in Bali, Jakarta, Surabaya, Palembang, Solo and Lombok.

Jekson joins Days Hotel & Suites Jakarta Airport from Ibis Styles and Ibis Budget, Jakarta Airport where he held the Executive Assistant Manager role for both hotels. He also gained in-depth hospitality experience at various Accor Hotels in Indonesia for more than a decade beforehand.

Wyndham Destinations Head of Hotel & Resort Operations Asia Pacific Michael Burchett said Jekson's extensive knowledge of the region and its business landscape is a key asset to help the hotel achieve operational success.

Jekson began his hospitality career at Novotel Yogyakarta, where he learnt front and back office operations as well as training and recruiting staff. He then held managerial positions in several Indonesian hotels, including Mercure Pontianak City Centre and Grand Mercure Jakarta Kemayoran.
