Albert Kunco has been appointed as Executive Chef at Hyatt Place and Hyatt House Charleston Historic District
Today, Hyatt Place and Hyatt House Charleston Historic District announced the appointment of Executive Chef Albert Kunco. Kunco has over 20 years' experience in the hospitality industry focused on honing his culinary skills.
Most recently, Kunco served as the executive chef at Atlanta Marriott Peachtree Corners. He also has worked in a variety of hotel brands throughout the country. He has cooked at the prestigious James Beard House and holds a bachelor's degree in culinary arts from Johnson and Wales University.
Kunco will lead the development of a new catering program for group, corporate and social events and launch seasonal menus for the hotel restaurant, bar and happy hour. Centered around the over 8,000 square-feet of catering space the Hyatt Place + Hyatt House offers an elegant venue for meetings, training sessions, weddings and other gatherings.
