Ron Droegmyer has been named General Manager at The Essex, Vermont's Culinary Resort & Spa

BENCHMARK®, a global hospitality company, has named Ron Droegmyer general manager for The Essex - Vermont's Culinary Resort & Spa, a Gemstone Collection property located in Essex, Vermont. Greg Champion, BENCHMARK's president and COO, made the announcement.

Ron Droegmyer brings significant leadership experience to The Essex. He was previously general manager for PHM Consulting Limited, where he served on leadership task force assignments at hotels and upscale resorts, including properties on New York City. He earlier held the position of general manager for the Doubletree Fort Lee in New Jersey, the Holiday Inn Secaucus, also in New Jersey, and the Sheraton in Niagara Falls, New York.

Mr. Droegmyer is a graduate of Florida International University where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration. He resides in Essex, Vermont.
