Sabrina Anico

Ms. Anico has more than 20 years of venue management experience specializing in marketing, brand development, communications and sales for new construction, public venue projects. Her venue roster includes the Faena Forum at the m ulti-billion dollar Faena District in Miami Beach, the New World Center designed by star-architect Frank Gehry, the Lincoln Theater on vibrant Lincoln Road, the Mahaffey Theater at the Progress Energy Center in St. Petersburg, FL, the Jackie Gleason Theater (now a Live Nation Fillmore venue), and the historical Coconut Grove Playhouse in Coconut Grove, FL. She has provided marketing, promotions, communications and venue booking support for for-profit entities such as SMG, Faena Hotels, and now Spectra Venue Management, as well as private non-profits such as the New World Symphony.

Ms. Anico was honored with a BizBash Reader's Choice Awards for Venue Manager of the Year in 2012, and volunteers as a grant panelist for the Miami Dade County Cultural Affairs Department. Unaffiliated with her marketing experience, Ms. Anico holds an Earned Agent license from the Internal Revenue Service and has participated in the Wyncode Academy Full Stack Web Development Program.

The Director of Marketing and External Relations at the MBCC is responsible for strategic leadership in developing digital and traditional marketing camp aigns, communications, and maintaining external relations to promote the MBCC in the community and venue industry.
