Nicholas Remes has been promoted to Regional Manager at AHC Hospitality
AHC+Hospitality today announces the promotion of Nicholas Remes to regional general manager of AHC+Hospitality's Marriott properties. In his new role, Remes will oversee operations at the JW Marriott Grand Rapids, Courtyard by Marriott Grand Rapids Downtown and the recently opened AC Hotel Grand Rapids Downtown.As a member of the JW Marriott Grand Rapids' original opening team, Nick began his career with AHC+Hospitality in 2007 as assistant rooms division manager and was promoted to assistant general manager in 2015. Nick was promoted to general manager in 2018 and, most recently, invited to join the company's prestigious Vice President Council to support AHC+Hospitality's three diverse Marriott properties.
A graduate of Michigan State University and native of East Lansing, Remes received a degree in hospitality business and currently resides in East Grand Rapids with his wife, Danielle, and their three children Jackson, Bella and Olivia.
Nicholas Remes is an alumnus of The School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University – Class of 2006.
