Ashlee Barton has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino

Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino, a scenic lakefront resort located on the shores of North Lake Tahoe, announces Ashlee Barton as director of sales and marketing. She joins the resort from Hyatt Regency San Francisco where she served as associate director of sales.

With more than 15 years working in the hospitality industry, Barton began her career as an event coordinator at Redmond Marriott Town Center Hotel in Redmond, Wash. She was quickly promoted within Marriott to corporate sales manager, then to senior sales manager for the western region where she was responsible for sales with all Renaissance, JW Marriott, and other full-service Marriott hotels in Washington, Oregon, Utah, Colorado, and Northern California.

Prior to transferring to Hyatt, Barton worked as an account director for group sales with Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc. where she managed all of the company's local, corporate, tech, and Northwest clients. Barton began working with Hyatt in 2018 as an associate director of sales at Hyatt Regency San Francisco.

Barton graduated from Washington State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hospitality Business Management.

Ashlee Barton is an alumnus of Washington State University (WSU) – Class of 2005.
