Matthew Brink has been appointed as General Manager at Quirk Hotel Charlottesville

With an extensive background within the Hyatt portfolio, including experience with hotels across the country from Miami Beach, FL, to Long Beach, CA, Brink will bring twenty-five years of industry knowledge to Charlottesville's newest boutique art hotel. Most recently, Brink served as hotel manager based at The Confidante Hotel where he was responsible for all hotel operations, while also overseeing the corporate design and food and beverage program. Previously, Brink was the director of food & beverage at the Grand Hyatt Dallas Fort-Worth and Hyatt Regency Long Beach. Throughout his career, Brink has persistently delivered high guest satisfaction through his personable manner and genuine care to each situation and person he encounters.

In his new role, Brink will oversee all property operations including 80 guestrooms and suites, over 11,000 square-feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, a rustic hyper-seasonal restaurant and an in-house art gallery, featuring local, regional and national artists.
