Travel + Leisure Co. (NYSE:TNL), formerly Wyndham Destinations, which made its official debut on the New York Stock Exchange today as the world's leading membership and leisure travel company with nearly 20 travel brands across its resort, travel club, and lifestyle portfolio, announces the appointment of Noah Brodsky to the new role of President, Travel + Leisure Group and Chief Brand Officer.
According to Michael Brown, president and chief executive officer of Travel + Leisure Co., Brodsky steps into this new leadership role based on his previous accomplishments as Chief Brand Officer; a role he retains and where he was instrumental in the 2018 evolution of Wyndham Destinations as an independent public company and last month's acquisition of the iconic Travel + Leisure brand to expand the company's reach within the global leisure travel industry.
As president of Travel + Leisure Group, Brodsky will oversee the development of and worldwide growth of new travel products and services that leverage the unparalleled Travel + Leisure reputation, expertise and content library — including the group's subscription travel clubs, online travel booking platforms, and brand licensing agreements. As Chief Brand Officer, he will also continue to have oversight of the global brand, digital and customer relationship management (CRM) organizations for Travel + Leisure Co.
Under Brodsky's leadership, the company is introducing a new way to plan and book travel, unveiling the new travel resource BookTandL.com, powered by the trusted content from the iconic Travel + Leisure media team. The new online vacation booking platform will also lay the foundation for the anticipated summer launch of a new Travel + Leisure subscription travel club, offering exclusive benefits and perks when traveling around the world and when at home.
A catalyst for innovation and transformation, Brodsky brings charismatic leadership and extensive expertise in hospitality, customer loyalty and engagement, and global sales and marketing. Previously, Brodsky served as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Loyalty and Customer Engagement for Wyndham Hotel Group, where he was responsible for the evolution of Wyndham Rewards and its naming as the Best Hotel Rewards Program by U.S. News & World Report. Prior to joining Wyndham, Brodsky served as Chief Experience Officer at WeWork, and Vice President, Global Brand Management for Sheraton at Starwood Hotels and Resorts. He began his career with Four Seasons in resort operations and has worked on five continents.
Brodsky is an Executive Sponsor of the Travel + Leisure Co. Global Inclusion and Diversity Council, and the Asian and Pacific Islander diversity resource group. He has also been instrumental in strengthening the company's LGBTQ+ engagement and support. Brodsky's innovation in the industry has been recognized through multiple awards, including Orlando Business Journal's 2018 40 Under 40; Top 25 Extraordinary Minds in Hospitality in 2015 by the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International; and Brand Innovators' 2016 40 Under 40.
Brodsky earned a bachelor's degree at the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration and a master's degree in business administration from Harvard Business School. He currently serves as co-chair of the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) Marketing & Related Services Committee.
