Amanda completed a traineeship with Tourism New South Wales, before landing her first job in the hotel industry as a receptionist at the Travelodge Hotel Sydney Wynyard in 1993.

Over the years, Amanda worked her way through different departments and companies before her first appointment as GM at the Hotel Urban St Leonards in Sydney, a property she stayed with for almost 8 years.

Amanda joined Ovolo Hotels as General Manager of the Ovolo 1888 Darling Harbour in 2016, working her way through different roles until her most recent position as Group Director Brand Experience & Culture in 2019.
