Duncan Clements has been appointed as General Manager at Hillsboro Beach Resort

Duncan Clements will serve as the resort's general manager and Tricia C. Shaw will serve as the dire ctor of sales and catering for the property. Slated to open in August 2021, Hillsboro Beach Resort is the only resort located on exclusive Hillsboro Mile, offering direct oceanfront access.

As general manager, Clements will be responsible for managing all aspects of the resort's day-to-day operations. A native of the United Kingdom, he worked in various roles for InterContinental Hotels Group in London, Abu Dhabi and Budapest before coming to the United States. Since relocating, Clements has served in several hotel leadership positions, including working as the general manager at Hotel Burnham Chicago and Hotel Lumen Dallas, both part of the Kimpton Hotels & Resorts portfolio. Most recently, he spent the last eight y ears managing luxury boutique resorts in South Florida such as Kimpton Vero Beach Hotel & Spa and YVE Hotel Miami.

Duncan Clements is an alumnus of Manchester Metropolitan University .
