Douglas Housley has been appointed General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park
Douglas, or "Doug" as he prefers, assumed his new role this past December 2020. A well-seasoned luxury hospitality veteran, Doug began his career with the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in 1979. During this time, his career expanded across several U.S. and overseas markets, covering Food and Beverage assignments, Room Service, Banquets, and Fine Dining. In his new company role with The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park, he will be responsible for the luxury flagship's daily operations, executive management and playing a pivotal role in reopening the 253-room hotel and property outlets Contour and La Prairie Spa after a 14-month closure. A Toronto Native, Doug shares his new home in New York with his wife Ada Wong.
