Christian Chen has been appointed as Vice President of Underwriting at Remington Hospitality
Remington Hotels announced today the appointment of Christian Chen as Vice President of Underwriting. With eight years of experience in this field, Chen will oversee the underwriting team, working collaboratively with both the business development team and operations group to grow internal acquisitions and third-party management opportunities.
Most recently, Chen served as Senior Director of Feasibility at Aimbridge Hospitality, where he managed deal flow, underwrote and approved project deliverables unique to each deal. Previously, he was a Senior Consultant with CBRE Hotels, where he developed expansion strategies based on competitive and economic environments, which were then implemented to increase penetration and market share. Chen is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Rice University, where his focuses included real estate, strategy and marketing.
When not working, Chen enjoys stringing tennis racquets, building custom computers and making home-made sushi.
