Jera Hermosa has been promoted to Marketing and Communications Manager at Grand Plaza Mövenpick Media City

Jera Hermosa has been promoted at Grand Plaza Mövenpick Media City after more than two years with the group. She steps up as marketing and communications manager after serving as marketing and communications executive.

Described as a "content machine" by the Accor brand, she will continue to organise video and photoshoots; launch organic and paid cross-network campaigns; and boost brand engagement and social media recognition.

When she joined the hotel in 2019, she successfully led marketing campaigns across the rooms division, MICE spaces, spa and F&B outlets. She also helped to push the hotel towards social media and fashioned the visual assets for the rebranding of its spa earlier this year.

Before Accor, Hermosa was with Millennium Atria Business Bay as a corporate sales executive during its pre-opening days. Before that, she was with Melia Desert Palm Dubai as sales and marketing coordinator. She got her start in hospitality in her home country of the Philippines, working with Paseo Premier Residences as front desk officer, sales executive, and the assistant marketing manager.
