Alexandre Archier has been promoted to Group Senior Vice President Public Affairs at Accor

New appointment within the Accor group which promotes Alexandre Archier to the position of Group SVP Public Affairs.

Sébastien Bazin, Chairman and CEO of the Accor hotel group, has just announced the appointment of Alexandre Archier as Group SVP Public Affairs. He took up his post on Monday 1 November 2021 and replaces Pierre Régent who has held this position since the end of 2017.

Alexandre Archier will be responsible for Accor's public affairs in France with the various European institutions and internationally. He will be in charge of managing all of the group's relations with the players and decision-makers in the public sphere, while maintaining a close relationship with the 8 hubs of the Accor group.

He will also be in charge of the secretariat of the International Strategy Committee for the Board of Directors, with the support of Arthur Prévot, Senior Manager in the Pubic Affairs division.

Alexandre Archier is a natural choice for this position after having been Deputy Director of Institutional Relations at Accor for over two years. Graduated from Sciences Po, he began his professional career at Air France as a project manager in 2003. The following year, he moved to the United States and was appointed Deputy Director of the French-American Chamber of Commerce of the Pacific Northwest.

He returned to France in 2006 and joined the French Senate as a research officer in economic affairs before becoming a research and survey officer for the Government Information Service. A year later, he returned to the Senate and at the same time became a parliamentary assistant.

In 2010, he joined Arianespace, the French company in charge of marketing and operating the space launch systems developed by ArianeGroup, and held various positions such as Delegate for Institutional Relations, Manager of Government Affairs - Financing and Director of Public Affairs.
