Mehdi Ouidane

Ouidane will oversee and handle the operations of the outlets that include 56th Avenue Diner, the 24-hour Tea Lounge, The Market and another upcoming outlet, alongside the F&B operations of the exclusive Regency Club, room service, events and outside catering.

Prior to Hyatt Regency Riyadh Olaya, Ouidane was the Food and Beverage Manager at the luxurious Park Hyatt Doha and helped ready the 187-room hotel and its outlets for its much-awaited launch in 2019. His most notable achievement with Park Hyatt Doha was the launch of their Michelin star outlet, Opus; a composition by Jean-Francois Roquette to celebrate French and Qatari cuisines.

Ouidane spent most of his career in France. He debuted with the Hotel Les Prés d'Eugénie as the Chef de Rang at Michel Guérard - a three Michelin star restaurant in Landes, France, in 1998. His exceptional use of skills and knowledge and attention to finesse favorably maneuvered his career up the ladder. Some of his remarkable career milestones include working at the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris and overseeing the launch of Chef Philippe Legendre's three Michelin star gastronomic restaurant, and Hotel Ritz Paris in Paris during which he looked after its two Michelin star fine-dining restaurant, L'Espadon. In 2018, he joined the pre-opening team of Park Hyatt Doha.
