Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has appointed Mark S. Bradford as General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen.

The seasoned hotelier has two decades of experience with Mandarin Oriental, initially joining as Hotel Manager at Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok, and then taking on senior leadership positions in Chiang Mai, Marrakech, Manila and Jakarta.

Prior to this move, he was opening General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Wangfujing, Beijing, the boutique hotel that set new hospitality standards in China's capital, receiving numerous prestigious accolades.

Mark is a graduate of the prestigious Lausanne Hotel Management School in Switzerland and has an MBA in Hotel Management. Raised by British parents in Switzerland, Mark spoke French at school and English at home, and is colloquially fluent in both languages. An avid art, music and culture connoisseur, he is excited at the prospect of exploring Shenzhen's contemporary art scene.

Mark S. Bradford is an alumnus of EHL Hospitality Business School – Class of 1991.
