Heather Crawford has been appointed General Counsel at Cabot

Cabot, the developer and operator of master-planned golf resort communities, announced today that Heather Crawford has been appointed as General Counsel. In this role, Crawford will oversee all legal aspects of Cabot and its properties under management and development, such as creating governance structures, overseeing external counsel and managing risk throughout the organization.
A seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience, Crawford most recently served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Fengate Capital Management Ltd. Previously, she was General Counsel at Clairvest Group Inc. Prior to these internal legal roles, Crawford was an associate lawyer at Torys LLP in Toronto, Canada.
Crawford holds a LL.M. from Cambridge University, a LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School and a B.A. from Simon Fraser University. She also has earned the designation of ICD.D. from the Institute of Corporate Directors. Crawford serves on several boards and committees of not-for-profit organizations and is an Advisory Board Member of Connor, Clarke & Lunn Financial Group.
