Thomas Jecklin has been appointed as General Manager at Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve
Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve is delighted to announce the appointment of Thomas Jecklin as General Manager. Bringing over three decades of hospitality experience to the role, Thomas will oversee all operations for the award-winning property.
Hailing from Switzerland, Thomas received a Bachelor's degree from Hotel & Restaurant Management School. He launched his career as a waiter apprentice in Switzerland, working his way up the ranks to Headwaiter, Fine Dining Waiter, Food & Beverage Director, and more. His more than 30 years of experience has taken him across the world to destinations including Switzerland, Mexico, Brazil, Paraguay, Chile and China, holding leadership roles at the W Mexico City, The St. Regis Mexico City, The Ritz-Carlton, Cancun, among other properties. Most recently, Thomas served as the General Manager for The St. Regis Mexico City, where under his leadership the property saw significant growth in revenue and occupancy. Thomas additionally has a history of implementing new and successful food and beverage concepts. In his role as General Manager for Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Thomas will oversee day-to-day operations for the resort ensuring the property continues to deliver the world-class experience for which it has become renowned. Building on the resort's success, Thomas is charged with implementing innovative initiatives that will continue to set new standards for luxury travel and underscore Zadún's position as a leader within the destination.
