InterContinental Washington, D.C. - The Wharf announces the appointment of Chris Lee as General Manager of the hotel. As a seasoned industry veteran in the hospitality and culinary industries, Lee brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the luxury waterfront property.

With over ten years of executive experience in the hospitality industry and a wealth of IHG brand knowledge, General Manager Chris Lee will oversee the continued growth of InterContinental Washington D.C. - The Wharf. As the hotel's 5th anniversary approaches in October 2022, Lee's dedication and commitment to growth will further position the hotel as the premier hotel accommodation on The Wharf with enhanced guest experiences and outstanding service.

Lee joins the team from his previous role as General Manager of the Hotel Indigo Los Angeles Downtown. Previously, he served as General Manager of the InterContinental Los Angeles Century City at Beverly Hills. Over the years, Chris has held executive roles at Canyon Ranch Wellness Resort Kaplankaya in Turkey - which is now a Six Senses hotel - and also with Four Seasons Hotels and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company.
