Andrea Murray has been appointed as Managing Director at The Lodge at Bodega Bay

Woodside Hotel Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrea Murray, CHA, as the new managing director of The Lodge at Bodega Bay. In Murray's new role, she will oversee the management and operation of the 83-room ocean-view resort nestled on the rugged yet serene Sonoma Coast.

Andrea Murray

Murray boasts fifteen years of hospitality management experience for hotels and resorts along the California and Oregon coasts. Most recently, she held the role of general manager for Olema House in Olema, Calif. Prior, Murray served as general manager for The Porter Portland, a Curio Collection hotel by Hilton, where she hired and oversaw the pre-opening team and operations at the 300-room hotel. Earlier in her career, Murray worked with Pacifica Hotels, a collection of California beach hotels, as the general manager for The Marina del Rey Hotel and The Belmar in Manhattan Beach, where she ran day-to-day operations and guided the vision of service for the boutique properties.

Murray's love for all things culinary and hospitality began as a child while helping in the kitchen with her mother's catering business. As a young adult, she auditioned and was accepted into San Francisco School of the Arts, where she studied opera and music as a mezzo soprano. While Murray's passions have led her around the world, from completing a certificate in aryuvedic yoga in Bali to diving in Indonesia at Komodo National Park, her heart lies in Northern California where she has access to the region's rich culture and outdoor activities.
