Tony Mira has been appointed as General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Turks & Caicos
The Ritz-Carlton, Turks & Caicos is delighted to announce the appointment of Tony Mira as General Manager. Mr. Mira brings more than 15 years of experience to this position with a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of the Ritz-Carlton brand.
Mr. Mira began his hospitality career as a management trainee with Westin Hotels, where he spent several years and held multiple progressive positions prior to joining the Renaissance Chicago Hotel, where he eventually became the Director of Food & Beverage. His next role was his first as General Manager at the Renaissance Hotel Battle Creek. In 2006, Mira joined The Ritz-Carlton, becoming the General Manager at the Dearborn, Michigan location. After four years in Dearborn, which culminated in a Best-in-Class Award in Community Service, Mira transferred to The Ritz-Carlton, Rose Hall Jamaica. He saw similar success in Jamaica, receiving the Mustang Award, which is annually awarded to a Marriott General Manager who has overcome substantial obstacles. After four years at The Ritz-Carlton, Rose Hall Jamaica, Mr. Mira became the General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey, where he remained until now.
Mr. Mira will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the resort, ensuring continued success for The Ritz-Carlton, Turks & Caicos.
Tony Mira is an alumnus of School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Oklahoma State University – Class of 1978.
