Aurelio Giraudo has been appointed as Cluster General Manager at Fairmont The Palm

Hospitality veteran Aurelio Giraudo has added another feather to his cap - moving to Fairmont The Palm as cluster general manager. Giraudo has been in the industry for over four decades, travelling the world, and most recently serving as cluster GM of Banyan Tree Doha and La Cigale Hotel Managed by Accor. Now, he leads the Fairmont resort, along with Movenpick JLT, Riva Beach Club and Th8 Hotel Dubai. Giraudo, 62, has four decades of experience in luxury hospitality and his work has taken him to destinations from Kenya to Indonesia. He has worked for Four Seasons, Shangri-La, Dusit Hotels & Resorts, Marriott and most recently Accor. He is no stranger to the Middle East, as he was previously the general manager and director of business development at The Regency Hotel in Kuwait.

He has been general manager of Four Seasons in Taipei; GM of Swissotel Nai Lert Park Bangkok; GM of Palmeraie Rotana Resort; and cluster GM of Kempinski to name a few.

In his latest role, Giraudo will lead the hotel's team in all aspects of the operation, guest services and owner relations. With his extensive expertise in sales & marketing, food & beverage, revenue management and finance departments, he will be responsible to achieve the commercial objectives also.
