Dan Merchant has been promoted to Chief People Officer at Generator x Freehand Hotels
Generator CEO, Alastair Thomann has announced the promotion of Dan Merchant to the role of Chief People Officer, tasked with fostering a people-centric culture that promotes the company's core values and enhances employee engagement.
As the leader of Generator & Freehand Hotel's HR function, Dan oversees the company's recruitment and hiring activities with the goal of attracting and retaining top talent and delivering a world-class employee onboarding experience. In addition to advocating the company's core values, Dan also champions Generator's diversity, health and wellness, and talent capability growth programs.
Dan served previously as the company's Vice President, HR. He brings a passion for building a strong company culture to his new leadership role. As chief people officer, he will provide leadership mentorship and strategic direction for workforce management, human resources, learning and development, internal communications, recruitment, performance management and training.
