Mark Goeman has been appointed as Managing Director at The Benson Portland, Curio Collection by Hilton

A Portland native, Mark Goeman brings over 30 years of experience to Coast Hospitality Management. Most recently, he served as chief operating officer for a Pacific Northwest hospitality management company where he was responsible for the operating performance of a 15-hotel portfolio. Mark is well versed in sales and marketing, food and beverage, revenue management and asset management. To round out his experience in his early career, Mark held numerous positions from dishwasher to General Manager. Mark is passionate about customer service and implemented an 'At Your Service' initiative at The Beverly Heritage Hotel in San Jose, resulting in a workplace culture that was focused on service excellence. His hotel was reputable throughout the Silicon Valley as consistently delivering 100% guest satisfaction. Mark was also a four-year Board member with Travel Portland.

In an effort to grow its network of distinctive hotels in Oregon, Mark will work closely with George Schweitzer, Regional Operations Manager for Coast Hospitality LLC. George will have regional oversight of multiple properties, including The Benson Portland, Curio Collection by Hilton, and the new Holman Hotel in Salem, scheduled to open in the fourth quarter, which Coast Hospitality will also manage.
